Time to make some changes!
Hey everyone! It’s time for an update. It has been a long time since you have seen activity out of DS Media Labs. We have some big and exciting changes we want to share with you. Some of you may or may not know, but the DS Media Labs team was acquired through a talent acquisition in January of 2010. This limits the amount of time we can devote to DS projects, it has made it challenging for the team. Time to make some changes! The team has planned on shipping Mixr, our Pro DJ App for iPad, numerous times and missed every deadline. One individual even made the comment that “Mixr is the Duke Nukem Forever of music apps.” We have to say, that was pretty funny and sad at the same time. No, literally, we laughed and then cried. We were falling…
Light-O-Matic Update 1.1
Light-O-Matic 1.1 is now available on the App Store! The update features the Flashlight on the first tab and automatically turns on whenever you enter the app. The Strobe Light includes quick speed setting for optimal strobe effects. iPod music can now play in the background, allowing you to enjoy your tunes while jogging or cycling with Flash on Motion. Also included, Fade to black setting allows you use the flashlight and dim your screen. If you have any questions, comments or feedback, please feel free to drop us a line on twitter or the App Store. We hope you enjoy the update, and we’re already working on the next one! DS Media labs at WWDC 2010
We are very happy to announce WWDC was a success! New announcements coming and we?re thrilled to have been fortunate enough to attend. We’ve spent the entire week learning and working on implementing the new iOS4 features and API?s. We’re really excited to be working on some great new features. We had the pleasure to meet tons of great individuals, here’s Louie Mantia, recent Pixel Pirate hire at Apple. Louie offered Noe a wonderful one-on-one UI discussion. Very happy to report we’ve taken considerations his suggestions and have already implemented them into the new UI. The team arrived and assembled to get in line at Sunday, June 6 11PM late in the evening. The sleepless night resulted in being close to the action and front mid center at the Keynote. Here we are enjoying the moment at the WWDC2010 Bash…
